In 2005, Faith Assembly Christian Center in Pasco, Washington became the 142nd home for Royal Family Kid's Camp. Royal Family is a one week resident camp for children 7-11 years old in the Foster Care system in Benton and Franklin Counties.

A child is eligible to return to camp (even if they are returned home) through 11 years of age.

The Week of Camp will be Monday, August 10--Friday, August 14, 2009

Letters of Intent will be sent early December to previous RFKC Staff & Counselors to confirm their return to Camp.
When this information is returned, we can assess the Counselor and Staff that we need to recruit.

  • January-Early March Recruiting Needed Staff & Counselors
  • ALL applications need to be in by March 15th!
  • May 1 & 2: Interview Potential New Staff & Counselors
  • May 31 Late Applicant Interviews
  • May: Notify by mail final acceptance to work at Camp
  • Monday, May 11, 2009 Jim Ball Golf Classic to Benefit RFKC will take place at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland. Information will be available soon for registration and sponsorships.

2009 Training Dates are scheduled:

Rookie Staff/Counselors Friday, June 12 at 6 pm
Rookie & Returning Staff/Counselors Saturday, June 13 at 7 am

RETURNING Staff and Counselors can also complete the updated forms that are in the same location.
